Origin of Night Club Musical My six year-old daughter was all about “High School Musical.” I was driving her to school one day in November 2008 and said “What if there was a broadway play with nothing but vocal trance music. That would be tight.” NIGHT CLUB MUSICAL.
I like to keep my mixes listener friendly, meaning I use a lot of lush Vocal Trance tracks that are filled with ethereal sound, beautiful melodies and endless energy that not only creates emotive dance music, but music you can sing-along with and/or get lost in too. I'm heavily influenced by Tiesto's In Search of Sunrise days, Andy Moor, Myon and Shane 54, Kaskade, Above & Beyond, the Cocteau Twins and 80's & 90's 4AD music. I'll play/mix any style of music, I'm not really trapped into just one. I prefer trance, vocal trance, prog-house, trip hop and chillout. Basically I just love music and putting it together to tell a story & take listeners on a journey. My high is a crowded dancefloor, happy faces or bringing out your feelings while listening to the mix. Wow! I accidentally found this one day during finals looking for electronic music to study to. The song choice is spectacular and I have not been disappointed with any of the many episodes I have downloaded. I can listen to them all the time (studying, reading, working, cleaning, running, ect.). Really great vibe and I have been recommending it to everyone.

Don't sleep on the guy! Amazing songs, well arranged and mix transitions are spot on with the best of them!!! Honestly prefer this Podcast over any of your "bigger" DJ's podcast, believe me! ACT 13 is out of this world!!!!!

I agree with the old school style having been a DJ product of the 80's and 90's. However I prefer the term purist..and that you are DJ BD. Great trance selections and appreciate the attention to vocal trance tracks (my fav). Great cast!
